Throughout his life – and certainly throughout his extraordinary career – multi-instrumentalist Ron Block has been something of a musical Huck Finn, a tireless adventurer exploring various styles yet rooted firmly in the bluegrass-country tradition. Now the longtime member of the Grammy-winning band Alison Krauss and Union Station (since 1991)discovered a whole new area of uncharted terrain, with the release of his fourth solo album, Hogan's House of Music, his first-ever all-instrumental collection.

In October 1991, Ron Block joined Alison Krauss and Union Station, with members Barry Bales, Tim Stafford, and Adam Steffey. The following year, the group recorded the album Every Time You Say Goodbye. Now considered a modern bluegrass classic, the album earned a 1993 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album, the first of an astounding 14 Grammys Block would take home thus far. Other early highlights of Block's tenure with AKUS include touring with Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson and then as part of the O Brother, Where Art Thou phenomenon, which would put the banjo player on the big screen and on concert stages with the Down from the Mountain Tour, featuring performers from the O Brother soundtrack. In 2009, the group performed for the President of the United States at the White House.

Just off the back of his recent EP release “Lost In A ’90s Arcade” Indie folk singer Pa Sheehy has secured slots in a host of major festivals around Europe. The most recent call up supporting Bruce Springsteen at Hyde Park. Earlier this year he made his Other Voices solo debut alongside Paolo Nutini and Inhaler and seems well on his way to becoming a household name in Ireland while also making in roads into mainland Europe. With his folky edge he continues to captivate listeners. His vocal delivery now with a smoother approach as opposed to his usual raspy tone, Sheehy feels like it's the “beginning of something that is completely me”. Having spent the last three years “figuring it all out” he feels like it's ”time to set these songs free” as he sets his sights on a winter tour around Europe later this year followed by the release of a debut LP in 2023.

Enda Scahill, winner of The Steve Martin Banjo Prize, is the most accomplished and recognised
banjo player of his generation, an innovator who bridges the traditions of Irish music and the
dynamic folk music of America. His rise from session musician to his debut album Pick It Up and on to founding one of Ireland’s greatest roots bands We Banjo 3 has been grounded in quiet professionalism and ever-expanding musicianship.

Enda is a multiple time national champion on tenor banjo. Over many years he has developed a
technically demanding instrumental style and has become a thought leader on banjo instruction
and technique. Supplementing his touring band work, he’s now a mentor, educator and
leader in online music instruction.

Rhiannon Giddens has made a singular, iconic career out of stretching her brand of folk music, with its miles-deep historical roots and contemporary sensibilities, into just about every field imaginable. A two-time GRAMMY Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning singer and instrumentalist, MacArthur “Genius” grant recipient, and composer of opera, ballet, and film, Giddens has centered her work around the mission of lifting up people whose contributions to American musical history have previously been overlooked or erased, and advocating for a more accurate understanding of the country’s musical origins through art.

As Pitchfork once said, “few artists are so fearless and so ravenous in their exploration”—a journey that has led to NPR naming her one of its 25 Most Influential Women Musicians of the 21st Century and to American Songwriter calling her “one of the most important musical minds currently walking the planet.”

For her highly anticipated third solo studio album, You're The One, out August 18 on Nonesuch Records, she recruited producer Jack Splash (Kendrick Lamar, Solange, Alicia Keys, Valerie June, Tank and the Bangas) to help her bring this collection of songs that she'd written over the course of her career—her first album of all originals—to life at Criteria Recording Studios in Miami last November. Together with a band composed of Giddens’s closest musical collaborators from the past decade alongside Miami-based musicians from Splash’s own Rolodex, and topped off with a horn section making an impressive ten- to twelve-person ensemble, they drew from the folk music that Giddens knows so deeply and its pop descendants.

You’re The One features electric and upright bass, conga, Cajun and piano accordions, guitars, a Western string section, and Miami horns, among other instruments. "I hope that people just hear American music," Giddens says. "Blues, jazz, Cajun, country, gospel, and rock—it's all there. I like to be where it meets organically."

The album is in line with her previous work, as she explains, because it's yet another kind of project she's never done before. "I just wanted to expand my sound palette," Giddens says. "I feel like I've done lots in the acoustic realm, and I certainly will again. But these songs really needed a larger field."

Her song-writing range is audible on You're The One, from the groovy funk of "Hen In The Foxhouse" to the vintage AM radio-ready ballad "Who Are You Dreaming Of" and the string- band dance music of "Way Over Yonder"—likely the most familiar sound to Giddens’ fans. Her voice, though, is instantly recognizable throughout, even as the sounds around Giddens shift; she owns all of it with ease.

The album opens with "Too Little, Too Late, Too Bad," an R&B blast (complete with background "shoops" and a horn section) that takes a titan for inspiration. "I listened to a bunch of Aretha Franklin, and then turned to fellow Aretha-nut Dirk Powell and said, ‘Let’s write a song she might have sung!'" Giddens recalls. Her danceable, vivacious tribute to Franklin's sound is a vocal showcase, spotlighting her soaring high notes and nearly-growling low ones. Another of the album's highlights, "If You Don't Know How Sweet It Is," intentionally puts an edgier spin on the sass of Dolly Parton's early work, which Giddens channeled in the midst of some real life frustration. "I was like, 'I'm giving you everything, why are you leaving?'" she recalls of writing the song, which started as a poem.

Jason Isbell joins Giddens on "Yet To Be" as her duet partner and the album's only featured artist. "He's been such an ally in the industry to black women," Giddens says. "He's a great singer, and he's uncompromisingly himself—also just a really good person." "Yet To Be," the story of a black woman and an Irish man falling in love in America, is meant to channel some of the optimistic flip side of the brutal, real, and undertold history that Giddens has so effectively brought to the forefront with her work. "Here's a place, with all its warts, where you and I could meet from different parts of the world and start a family, which is the true future," Giddens explains. "I think so much about all of the terrible things in our past and present—but things are better than they have been in a lot of ways, and this is a song thinking about that."

One of the album's more sentimental songs, "You're The One," was inspired by a moment Giddens had with her son not long after he was born (he's now ten years old, and she has a fourteen-year-old daughter as well). "Your life has changed forever, and you don't know it until you're in the middle of it and it hits you," Giddens says. "I held his little cheek up to my face, and was just reminded, 'Oh my God, my children—they have every bit of my heart.'"

"You Louisiana Man" blends Giddens' banjo acumen with accordion, organ, and fiddle to create a Zydeco-funk classic. About a feeling that Giddens "turned up to eleven" during the songwriting process, the song shows the power of framing a record around banjo instead of guitar: "It just gives you a bit of a different vibe," as she puts it.

Perhaps most potent is the song "Another Wasted Life," Giddens' composition inspired by Kalief Browder, the New York man who was incarcerated without trial on Rikers Island for three years. "People are making so much money off prison systems," Giddens, who has performed for incarcerated people, says. "They just don't want anyone to remember that that's happening." Inspired sonically by another musical icon—Nina Simone—the forceful, anthemic song channels Giddens' rage at the broken system. "Doesn't matter what the crime, if indeed there was this time," she sings. "It's a torture of the soul."

The album teems with Giddens' breadth of knowledge of, curiosity about, and experience with American vernacular musics. Though it might be filtered through a slightly more familiar blend of sounds, You're The One never forsakes depth and groundedness for its listenability.

"They're fun songs, and I wanted them to have as much of a chance as they could to reach people who might dig them but don't know anything about, you know, what I do," Giddens says. "If they're introduced to me through this record, they might go listen to other music I've made with a different set of ears."

Giddens also is exploring other mediums and creative possibilities just as actively as she has American musical history. With 1858 replica minstrel banjo in hand, she wrote the opera Omar with film composer Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Nope) which received the 2023 Pulitzer Prize in Music, and, with her partner Francesco Turrisi, she wrote and performed the music for Black Lucy and the Bard, which was recorded for PBS’ Great Performances; she has appeared on the ABC hit drama Nashville and throughout Ken Burns’ Country Music series, also on PBS.

Giddens has published children's books and written and performed music for the soundtrack of Red Dead Redemption II, one of the best-selling video games of all time. She sang for the Obamas at the White House; is a three-time NPR Tiny Desk Concert alum; and hosts her own show on PBS, My Music with Rhiannon Giddens, as well as the Aria Code podcast, which is produced by New York City’s NPR affiliate station WQXR.

"I've been able to create a lot of different things around stories that are difficult to tell, and managed to get them done in a way that's gotten noticed," as Giddens puts it. "I know who to collaborate with, and it has gotten me into all sorts of corners that I would have never expected when I started doing this."

Paul Keating is a native of Manhattan in New York City born to two Irish Immigrants from County Clare. After college he began a career in journalism with Newsweek Magazine at their New York Headquarters while also starting a life-long cultural involvement in Irish Traditional Arts after meeting Dr. Mick Moloney at the 1976 Bicentennial Folk Life Festival and as an early member of the fledgling New York Irish Center in NYC where he studied and taught Irish Folk Dancing.

In 1983, he joined the international Irish Music Organization Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in North America preserving and promoting Irish Music and Dance where he co-chaired
ten North American Conventions of Music and Dance. He has served as their North American Public Relations Officer for the past 19 Years and as a Voting Delegate from North America to
their Executive Council in Dublin for the past 15 years.

Keating’s wider involvement began after he returned from the Willie Clancy Summer School Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy Oifigiúil in Miltown Malbay, just ten miles from the home place of his Clare Parents where he learned the
country Sets (Quadrilles) of their youth just as the revival of the Country Sets was blooming. He initiated an American wave by organizing numerous tours for Irish Dancing Masters and
Festivals to promote them which continues today.

Keating’s involvement in Irish Arts Center Festivals led him to become a founding Consultant of the Catskills Irish Arts Week in the Irish Catskills village of East Durham, modeled after the
Willie Clancy School in Clare and is in his second term as Artistic Director of the CIAW logging twelve of its 30 years in that role. His vast festival experience led to his election onto the current board of The Association of Irish & Celtic Festivals of North America.

Keating’s journalistic career continued after leaving Newsweek through the Irish Media focusing on Irish Traditional music and dance articles and he recently concluded a run of 20 years as the
weekly Trad Columnist of the Irish Voice newspaper which ceased operations in July of 2023.

World renowned traditional singer and flute player Nuala Kennedy grew up playing Irish music in Dundalk, County Louth and now lives in Ennis, County Clare with her Appalachian singer husband A. J. Roach and their two young children. Her newest solo album ‘Shorelines’ (2023 Under the Arch Records) was recorded in and inspired by the rugged coastline of Clare. At its core is a powerhouse trio combination with Clare fiddle maestro Tara Breen (Chieftains) and Dublin guitarist of note Tony Byrne (Danu). Also playing on the record are some of Ireland and America’s most beloved performers in singers Muireann NicAmhlaoibh and Moira Smiley, pianist Caoimhin Vallely and Grammy winning bassist Todd Sickafoose.

Nuala is known for her creative reworking and reimagining of traditional songs and for her unique Irish flute style, formed in Dundalk and honed in her long-time adopted home of Edinburgh, Scotland.

She is a musical adventurer who is recognized world-wide as a superlative performer of traditional music. Nuala has graced the cover of Irish Music Magazine, Sing Out! and appeared on the mainstage at festivals and venues around the world including Rudolstadt (GER) Celtic Connections (UK) Milwaukee Irish festival (USA) Telemark (NOR) Eurofonik (FRA) National Folk Festival (AU) and Celtic Colors (CAN). Her discography includes several releases on Nashville’s Compass Records, Borealis Records (CAN) and Ta:Lik Records (NOR) amongst others.

Her roots are first and foremost in Irish music, but she ‘something of a genre bender’ according to Living Tradition magazine. Outside of traditional music, Nuala trained as a classical pianist under Prof. John O’ Connor, Dublin and has toured and recorded with Indie-Poet Will Oldham/Bonnie Prince Billie (**** MOJO magazine ‘Is it the Sea’) Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), Euros Childs (Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci), with cutting-edge Canadian composer the late Oliver Schroer (duo album of original compositions nominated for two Canadian Folk Awards.) and is a member of Snowflake Trio, with Norwegian musicians Vegar Vårdal and Frode Haltli (ta:lik records, 2019).

Nuala is featured on ‘Celtic Soundtracks / Movie Themes’ by California’s Eric Rigler (Braveheart, Outlander, Titanic) and collaborated with composer Brian Reitzell on an episode of the hit television series ‘American Gods’ (2017). At Whispering Pines Studio in Los Angeles she produced American folk singer-songwriter Nels Andrews’ 2020 album ‘Pigeon and the Crow’, featuring Sebastian Steinberg (The Dixie Chicks, K.D. Lang, John Zorn, Eddie Vedder) on bass, Anais Mitchell (Hadestown) on vocals and Chris Wabich on steel drums (Leonard Cohen, Kevin Ayers, Sting ). Nuala sings with Janis Ian on her Grammy nominated 2022 release ‘The Light at the End of the Line‘.

Born in Italy, with Argentinian roots, Antoni O'Breskey is a composer, pianist, trumpet player, writer and music educator. He introduced improvised-style piano into Irish and Flamenco music during the early 80's, blending it with blues and creating a positively new and original jazz piano style.

Joe Carey's journey in the music industry is marked by a blend of artistic passion and entrepreneurial spirit. His musical voyage began at the age of 15, when he released his first EP, "Cycles," in 1994. This early start set the stage for his role as the lead in the popular school and college circuit band, The Nellies. Joe's academic achievements include graduating with honours in Commerce from University College Cork in 2000, followed by a degree in Music, Sound & Management from Cork College of FET -Tramore Road Campus in 2004, joining the ranks of notable alumni such as Sinéad Lohan, Mick Flannery, and others.

In 2005, Joe debuted with his original group Jodavino, releasing the album ‘Deep End,’ which received widespread critical acclaim. The group's follow-up album, ‘Say It Like It Is,’ recorded in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producer Jay Joyce, further cemented their success. Beyond his musical pursuits, Joe has also ventured into the hospitality industry, buying the bar and restaurant The White Horse in 2010 and establishing the acclaimed music venue, Upstairs at The White Horse. This venue has since hosted a variety of award-winning artists.

Joe's contributions to the music community extend to his co-directorship of the The Ballincollig Winter Music Festival, a community-centered event featuring workshops and international artists. He is also a founding member of the White Horse Guitar Club and the Live Venue Collective, the latter of which was pivotal in securing support for grassroots venues during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic. Additionally, he is a founding director of Music In Community, a charity bringing high-quality music acts to diverse community settings.

Currently, Joe is involved in an original writing project, Joseph Knife, with an anticipated debut LP release in 2024. His dual role as a venue owner and musician provides him with a unique, two-sided perspective on the music industry, shaped by over 25 years of experience in both creation and management.

Johnny is an award-winning music publisher who has published songs for many of Ireland’s top music entertainers. A founder Director of IMRO Ireland, Lappin has been at the forefront of the Irish music publishing business for almost four decades. In 1983 his clients Clannad Irish Band won an Ivor Novello Award The Ivors Academy, often referred to as the Oscars for songwriters, for their “Theme from Harry’s Game” which was the first Irish language song to enter the UK’s top 5 singles chart. In 1985 Clannad won a BAFTA Award for “Robin The Hooded Man”, a song taken from the hit TV series “Robin of Sherwood”, which starred Jason Connery in the title role. The series was picked up by over 130 countries worldwide.

During his 40 years in music publishing, Johnny Lappin has published the works of a multitude of writers and artists such as Aslan, Sharon Shannon, Rob Burke, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ryan Sheridan, OTHERKIN, Little Hours, Wyvern Lingo and countless others including the multi award winning Andrew Hozier’ Byrne.

He has overseen the publishing careers of Recording Academy / GRAMMYs nominated artists such as Celtic Woman as well as Ireland’s folk band of the year The High Kings. In 2015 Lappin himself picked up an Ivor Novello Award as publisher for Hozier’s worldwide hit “Take Me To Church” and has also worked with Athy's finest, Picture This, on their international publishing deal.

Having served as a Publishing Director on the Board of IMRO for the full twenty-year term, he has recently taken on the role as Secretary of the Music Publishers Association of Ireland (MPAI) and has also been appointed as Chairman of the Mechanical Copyright Society of Ireland (MCPSI). He is heavily involved in copyright lobbying issues on behalf of songwriters and publishers in association with the Brussels based International Confederation of Music Publishers (ICMP).

Lappin also wrote the book “The Need To Know Guide to Music Publishing” (© 1997 Foxrock Music Productions), to help explain to musicians the practical workings of music publishing within the entertainment industry. In 2019 he self-published his memoirs “In A Lifetime - From Hozier to U2” in which he details his lifetime in the music business which gave him a privileged front row seat at the extraordinary rise of the Irish music industry, as it grew from modest beginnings to become one of the major talent resources for the worldwide entertainment industry.

Joe Philpott is an experienced musician, with a rich and varied career in the music industry. Throughout his career, he has shown a strong commitment to the use of music in health and community settings.

Music in Health and Community:

Joe's journey into music in health started with his participation in the European Music in Healthcare Settings training program in partnership with Musique et Santé (Paris) , Music Network (Ireland )and The European Commission Leonardo da Vinci Life Long Learning programme . He received training in various healthcare institutions, including Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, St James's Hospital Dublin, Szpital Zakonu Bonifratrów w Krakowie, Association Robert-Debré in Paris, and Institut Gustave Roussy. This diverse experience laid the foundation for his work in music's therapeutic applications.

Joe is a registered tutor with Cork ETB School of Music, where he has provided music education programs for various groups, including young people on probation, youth enterprise drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and inclusive music programs for Cork City Learning Support Services - CCLSS and various schools around Cork City, including work in the ASD units in the schools.
Joe is a co-founder and director of MIC Music in Community, an organisation dedicated to bringing high-quality music to health and community settings.

Currently, he is involved in training, research, and introducing music to palliative care wards, focusing on the positive impact of music in palliative care settings in Marymount University Hospice. He also works with Westgate in Ballincollig, emphasizing the impact of music on the well-being of the elderly with cognitive and physical challenges.

Beyond his music career, Joe Philpott's involvement with Music Generation Cork City (MGCC) demonstrates his commitment to enriching the lives of diverse groups through
music education.

With a focus on inclusivity, he has worked with various schools and young people , including Traveller and Roma students , as well as refugees from Ukraine, with a view to making music education accessible to all. Joe is also working with autistic children in ASD units within city schools. Through MGCC's performance music education program, Joe has contributed to bringing the joy of music into the heart of Cork's communities
and schools , promoting creativity, learning, and personal development among children and young people through music.

Currently, Joe remains active in the music scene, working on projects with Rubyhorse and White Horse Guitar Club, having recently completed two major national tours with the latter. His music videos have amassed over one million views, solidifying his status as a national and international musical act.

Eddie Barcan, of Splendid Events, is a Cambridge (UK) based Event Manager, Production Manager, Programmer, Consultant and Agent. He built his reputation as the manager and programmer of 23 consecutive sell-out Cambridge Folk Festivals, before leaving in 2016. He’s programmed the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury Festival since 2005 and is Assistant Event Manger and Programmer for Underneath the Stars Festival (England), which celebrates it’s 10th year in 2024. 

Eddie works closely with England’s most popular female folk-singer, Kate Rusby, representing her for Festival appearances in the UK and internationally. He also programmes headline artists for HebCelt Festival (Scotland) and Folk by the Oak (England) and is a consultant for Greenbelt Festival (England). Eddie was Coach of Coaches for Global Music Match, which won the WOMEX Professional Excellence Award in 2021. 

Eddie and Splendid Events are highly regarded for meticulously planned, smooth running, successful events. Other recent clients include, Cambridge City Council (Events Review), Cambridge University (Event Management) and the National Trust (Creative Producer, Anglesey Abbey’s Winter Lights).

Mags is the founder of QUEST MEDIA and is a publicist, artist manager, broadcaster and board member of AIM Ireland. Since completing a Masters in Journalism she has worked in both print and broadcast media.

With a lifelong passion for music she began working as a publicist with Blue Monkey PR in 2016 representing Irish and international artists, as well as festivals and events. Recently, Mags has branched into artist management representing up and coming artists. Taking her love for new music and the opportunity to highlight underrepresented artists Mags became the host of Green On Red, a weekly show focusing on Irish artists, on Cork’s RedFM.

Gill Dooley is an independent music consultant, mentor and the CEO of AIM Ireland, Ireland’s national association for independent music. Bringing more than 20 years experience with her, Gill’s solution driven approach has seen AIM Ireland grow into a leading advocacy organisation since she took the helm in 2021.

Gill began her career with EMI Records, and spent time working with Irish indie RMG Charts, New Zealand’s TWL and Hot Press Magazine before joining Universal Music Group in 2007. She spent 11 years as Director of Digital & Business Development before branching out on her own in 2018, working as an artist manager, and being the lead commercial consultant on an Enterprise Ireland funded audio tech project.

Jackie Marushka is a creative entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience in story development, public relations, brand building, and growing successful businesses. She founded Marushka Media, a boutique PR and Branding agency, in 2016, and creates and executes career-enhancing PR and marketing campaigns for clients in the entertainment and non-profit arenas.

Before stepping out on her own to launch the first and only Hispanic woman-owned PR company across the country and Americana music genres, she started and led Shore Fire Media's Nashville office (known for Bruce Springsteen, Lana Del Rey and others) as GM (2013-2016). Prior to that, she led a division of Sony Music Entertainment as one of its youngest Vice Presidents and her division’s first VP of Public Relations. She handled PR for its distribution company, more than 40 recording artists across five record labels, a publishing company, a film company, and corporate communications.

Deadlines loomed, album release dates shifted and artists' schedules changed — constantly. This taught her the value of balance, and how much she enjoyed mentoring up-and-coming talent and helping others refine their stories. It also taught her the importance of giving back to the people and organizations that make her home states (Tennessee and New Mexico) healthy, beautiful and interesting.

Now, she makes time to serve as a board member for the Americana Music Association, The Recording Academy, and the Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce (TLACC). She mentors women and college students through the TLACC affiliated organizations, Ella and Futuro, and in May 2021, she was appointed to Nashville’s Auditorium Commission by Mayor John Cooper.

One of her proudest moments was curating and hosting the first-ever *Latíne Panel at the Americana Music Association's Festival and Conference (Sept. 2021) with moderator Felix Contreras of NPR, Raul Malo of the Mavericks, folk artist Phoebe Hunt, and iconic recording and touring artist, Tish Hinojosa.

This was the first time in the 20+ year history of the organization that Spanish-language music and culture was a focal point. The panel explored what it means to be a Latíne artist through the eyes and journeys of this esteemed panel of new and established artists.

She helped start the Music City Yoga Festival (2013) and is a founding board member of Small World Yoga (2014). As a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor, she invests in the lives of abused, neglected, and abandoned youth through yoga programs she started at Monroe Harding and Rocketown, non-profit organizations that serve at-risk youth in Tennessee.

She is a Leadership Music alum (2004), a member of The Recording Academy, Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, the American Association of Independent Music, and proudly serves on the Academy Awards (Oscars) Public Relations team.

Jackie grew up in the small farming community of Velarde, NM. The star-filled skies taught her to dream big. The snake-filled mountains taught her to be present and alert. The flavor and color of New Mexico’s green chile and apple orchard harvests fed her love of light and story. Willie Ryan is a music lawyer and qualified Irish barrister who specialises in music and entertainment law. His clients include Hozier, Johnny McDaid, The Coronas ATLI ORVARSSON, Noel Hogan/ The Cranberries and INNI (Icelandic music company he co-founded).

Charles Hendy, has been touring for the last five years with Irish folk group The Mary Wallopers, as one of the founding members of the group he has collected various folk songs and performed all over the US, Europe, England and Ireland. 

Dawn is a passionate advocate and supporter of the arts. Her long-standing involvement as both a Cape Breton Gaelic style fiddler and step dancer, and as Artistic Director of the Celtic Colours International Festival are proof of that. Having performed at the inaugural event in 1997, she has been in the director role since 2009 as Assistant Artistic Director and then Artistic Director.

Celtic Colours is a nine-day Cape Breton island-wide festival that celebrates the Celtic diaspora with its emphasis of celebrating the Gaelic/Celtic cultures found on the island, while celebrating the many and important cultures that vibrantly exist there such as Acadian and Mi’kmaw. For nine days in October, Cape Breton Island, Canada is alive with music, energy and excitement as people come from far and wide to celebrate its rich culture. From concerts to dances and workshops to community suppers, they offer a full range of events against a gorgeous backdrop of autumn colours welcoming visitors and local audiences alike.

Celtic Colours 2024 takes place October 11 - 19. Dawn also serves on volunteer boards and makes it a point to volunteer her musical skills to many worthwhile local charities. 

Kerry is the co - founder of RedGrape, an award - winning independent label and artist management company. She currently manages several artists including multi-award-winning folk legend Peggy Seeger.

Through her guidance, her artists have accessed label, publishing and licensing deals, independent funding and international touring. She also administrates the catalogue of folk singer and songwriter Ewan MacColl (‘First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’, ‘Dirty Old Town’).

She works both with developing artists at early stages
and well-established artists, in particular helping to re-focus their careers at significant cross -roads. She also provides one - off consultancy services for independent artists
including social media health checks, strategic planning and detailed marketing plans for releases or tours.

Kerry is currently on the Board of the MMF (Music Managers Forum UK)

(AIM) for 5 years, during which time she helped

Jennifer Roe is the Interim Executive Director of Folk Alliance International (FAI), a nonprofit organization established in 1989 to connect leaders in folk music and sustain the community and genre. Jennifer joined the FAI team in 2013 igniting a passion for folk music. With over a decade of private sector experience, she assumed a pivotal position in leading FAI's staff and contractors and overseeing the day-to-day operations. She plays a key role in orchestrating the international conference, a hallmark event attracting over 2,000 attendees annually.

Jennifer's journey began in Washington, DC, where she worked on Capitol Hill for the Majority Leader of the Senate before transitioning to serve on a Presidential campaign. Jennifer channels her political background to advocate for arts and culture at both federal and state levels through her position at FAI. 

Raechel Whitchurch is the Owner and Senior Agent at Sure Thing Agency, a boutique
Australian booking agency providing touring and event management services to established
and emerging artists.

After a decade working with some of Australia's biggest artists, events, brands and
international promoters, Raechel launched STA in 2019, with a focus on quality over
quantity; keeping the roster small and completely investing in the careers of the artists they work with.

When Eddie Lenihan appeared in Irish national television's 12-part series 'Storyteller' in 1986, most of those seeing and hearing him were doing so for the first time. However, two further series titled 'Ten Minute Tales' in 1987 and 1988 changed all that for good.

But what viewers did not know was that he had already by then 6 books behind him, as well as 5 audio tapes, besides years of folklore-gathering, particularly in his native Co. Kerry, but also in many other parts of Ireland. It is this love of mixing with, listening to older generations (which he still keeps to this very day) that underpins everything he does, and after 42 years of collecting, he now possesses probably the largest tape-library in private hands in Ireland - a unique resource of irreplaceable material that would otherwise have been lost.

In gratitude to the excellent storytellers who have shared their proud and ancient Irish tradition with him down the years - and who were so insistent that it should not die - Eddie has done his best, through personal appearances, as well as books, tapes, CDs and video, to spread the wonderful message of Irish lore - no difficult task, since its own very depth and scope make it a world unparalleled.

By a happy accident, in 1981 he began to tell bed-time stories to his own children, and the hero he chose was Fionn Mac Cumhail (Finn Mc Cool). Down the centuries the adventures of this mighty warrior and the Fianna, his heroic band of companions, has given pleasure to Irish people.

Eddie began to develop a whole new sequence of tales - presently over 400 and the list is still growing. Seven books of these have already been published and there is no end to the list in sight. And let no one be fooled by the words 'for children' on each. Adults will find them equally thought-provoking, amusing, grotesque and more.

Another interest central to Eddie's research is the fairies, the Good People. This had very practical results in 1999 when, through his single-handed efforts, a sceach (fairy bush) was saved from road-builders at Latoon, Co. Clare. The case made world-wide news, featuring in the New York Times, on CNN as well as on several European national TV networks and received much public support. The authorities finally agreed to re-route the new highway, and the bush is still standing.

Haunted places, fairy paths, holy wells: Eddie's researches into them all is ongoing. In fact, whatever involves walking the landscape, talking to old people, hopefully glimpsing the Otherworld, interests him. This is reflected in his books ´Meeting the Other Crowd´, an anthology of testimonies from believers in the fairy faith, and ´In the Tracks of the West Clare Railway´, which is a walk down the track-bed of the most famous of all of the Irish narrow-gauge lines, which closed in 1961.  

Irish fairy stories, naturally, form a prominent part of his huge repertoire, but there are historical tales, too, stories of notable persons (women especially, including the banshee), devil stories, accounts of saints (St. Patrick prominent among them, naturally), of monsters, ogres, giants, ghosts and much, much more.

He lives in Crusheen, Co. Clare, but his travels have taken him as far afield as such places as the USA (over 40 states, including a performance at the Smithsonian Institute and award for contribution to the Arts by the City of Philadelphia), UK, Germany, Belgium, Finland, France, among otherplaces. He is always delighted to bring the fruits of his years' researches and collecting to whoever he may share it with.

In Ireland, too, he is a frequent visitor to schools, libraries, prisons, literary festivals - in fact anywhere people are prepared to sit a while, listen and reflect - as their forbearers did when these stories were first told.

As well as a seanchaí he is the author of 17 books and 12 recordings. His book, `Meeting the Other Crowd´has been published in Italian and will, in 2013, be available in Japanese.

He broadcasts regularly on tv and radio in places as far apart as Dubai, UK, Canada and most recently in China (where his 6-part series on Irish animal-lore was shown).

He is currently working on a novel on the Civil War (1922-23) in Co. Kerry based on some of the oral material he collected there in the 1970's, and another of his long series of Fionn MacCumhail books for children is currently being prepared for publication.

He was short-listed as one of the 2012 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award finalists by the Swedish Arts Council, and was short-listed again in 2013.

Dancer Edwina Guckian hails from outside the village of Drumsna in Co. Leitrim. She learned her dancing from her mother and the local dancers of Leitrim and Roscommon. In 2004 Edwina established her dance club Áirc Damhsa which now
has over 400 members, 11 teachers and is based in 9 counties.

The following year she left her primary school teaching career to focus on her personal development in dance and the traditional arts. Since
then, she has been awarded Leitrim County Council Arts person of the Year, Art’s Councils Next Generation Award and Business Person
of the Year by the Irish Enterprise Board.

Since 2016, with the support of The Arts Council of Ireland, Dance Ireland and Leitrim Arts Office
she hosts Leitrim Dance Festival, supporting traditional percussive dancers from all over the world. She also organises many events in
her community throughout the year such as the Effrinagh Crossroads Dance.

She is currently curating a Creative Ireland project called Sowing the Seed with her Leitrim community and further afield encouraging the return of old farming techniques to work with nature once again and looking at the traditions and folk customs associated with the land. The project featured in National Geographic December 2021 issue.

In April 2022, Edwina was awards the Gradam Comaoine TG4 for her outstanding contribution to culture and in May 2023, the Markeivicz
Award by Minister Catherine Martin.

Wooden Ship Productions, formed in 1991 by Robyn Boyd, has booked hundreds of tours of the US and Canada in the past decades. Robyn started when Archie Fisher suggested she be his agent when he started touring after his 28 year stint with the BBC.

With a focus on Celtic traditional music (some, though played on traditional instruments, is quite contemporary) and also a few singer-songwriters with a story to tell. Wooden Ship has grown to be a reliable source for great talent.

Joined by her son, Sean, in 2015 Wooden Ship Productions has grown into a marketing/promotion company as well as being North American agents for foreign artists. Sean comes from a marketing background in the indie-pop genre. Seeing a need for professional marketing campaigns among trad artists, he has applied his skills to building the brands of artists on the Wooden Ship roster. This includes mailing physical copies to the US folkDJ panel as well as appropriate media outlets for airplay and review. When artists show crossover potential, the service list grows to include national outlets outside of the folk or trad market.

Wooden Ship specializes in bringing both established artists to North America and those coming for the first time by building audiences through showcases, festivals and concerts. Robyn’s sterling reputation for having good ears and finding new talent is relied upon by North American presenters looking for the next new band. Not stopping at first tours, Robyn and Sean work with artists to build a reputation and grow their market over years and decades.

Graham Thompson is an artist manager, producer and founder of Compass Bros Records, an independent country and roots label based in Sydney and distributed by Universal Music
Australia. He founded Compass Bros in 1999 building an impressive roster that challenged
the major labels for prominence in the local country and roots market.Compass Bros remains active today advising, assisting and distributing its roster of talented, motivated self-financed artists.

Graham’s current management clients are multi award winning singer songwriter Michael Waugh and indie folk artist Camille Trail.

Before Compass Bros, Graham served as Creative Director in the Sydney office of Almo Irving Rondor Music, the music publishing arm of A&M Records and worked as a bass player,
recording and touring with many Australian and international artists.

Jo Wright is a music and traditional arts development officer at the Arts of Northern Ireland (ACNI). Jo has been working at ACNI for the past 7 years and she has been working in the music sector across Ireland for the past 24 years. She started out as a session brass player and a recording and live sound engineer. Jo graduated from Queen’s University in 2004 with a BSc in Music Technology before moving into artist management, development and consultancy. Jo has previously worked with bands including Taste (Formerly Rory Gallagher’s Taste), currently she continues to manage the artists including Junior Johnson. She is the Vice Chair of “Safe in Sound” an initiative set up to provide a safe space for underrepresented voices in the Northern Irish music sector.

David Dee Moore is a Mayo based singer songwriter, producer, broadcaster, festival and event
organiser, creative designer, photographer, journalist and artist PR. In fact there is not much he
hasn’t tackled that is connected to the music industry over the last 40 years.

For the last 7 years he has been broadcasting his own radio show on the hugely popular Blues and
Roots Radio Network based in Canada. His internet show promotes independent Irish songwriters
and musicians in Ireland and beyond. Originally he had 2 shows The Acoustic Yard and the
Celtic Starfish and in early 2022 these amalgamated into the one very popular David Dee Moore
Radio Show.

Recognising a need for artist to promote there music beyond the radio shows he created Two
Swan Designs (Irish Music Media) PR services. These include promoting the artists current work
to a wide network of radio stations, bloggers and media outlets across Ireland, UK and select
international contacts, providing design and imagery for album/single covers and social media
platforms. He also supplies one to one mentoring to help the artist ultimately promote their own
music.

As a musician himself he has been involved in dozens of albums and singles from his punk days in
Belfast with the Ex-Producers, to blues bands like Boardwalk and The Piston Slappers, traditional
folk music with Niamh Parsons and Liam Clancy and more recently his own album ‘The Sun, The
Moon, The Stars…And Other Moving Objects’. In the last few years he successful created a
collaborative 5 single music project under the name Lemonade Marinade that included Ger Eaton,
Gillian Tuite, Cathryn Craig and Janet Henry.

David also created The Acoustic Yard songwriter sessions in 2016 that grew into a 3 times IMRO
nominated festival in Westport, Co.Mayo and continues to this day to help artists by organising and
advising them on gigs and touring etc.

Much-loved Irish artist, Sandy Kelly was always going to be a singer and performer. Born
into her grandfather, Dusky Dan’s Variety Roadshow, her destiny was sealed from her first
stage appearance at the age of three, laying the foundations for a lifelong career in music.
She was co-opted into the family travelling fit-up variety show in Ireland and later as a
teenager the social club circuit in the U.K. playing an ever more prominent role until she
returned to Ireland and developed initially as pop performer before following her instincts
and concentrating on a country music career.

Sandy’s first record, ‘Come Back Billy Joe’ reached number two in the Irish pop charts and
her career was on track. She represented Ireland at the 1982 Eurovision Song Contest, as
lead singer in The Duskeys. She has achieved multiple Gold Records, including hit duet
‘Woodcarver’ with Johnny Cash and her version of Willie Nelson’s ‘Crazy’, one of the biggest
selling singles in Ireland in 1989. For three years, she hosted her own weekly RTE TV Series
‘Sandy’.

Her connection to Patsy Cline’s songs led to Sandy being cast as the lead in the West End
production of ‘Patsy – The Musical’ in London in the 90’s. Following the West End run, the
show successfully toured the UK and Ireland for the second half of the decade.

While on an Irish tour, Johnny Cash heard Sandy on the radio, asked her to join him on stage and invited her to Nashville, where his introductions integrated her into the upper realms of the Nashville scene. Sandy subsequently recorded and toured with a host of legendary U.S. country artists including Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Glen Campbell, Tammy Wynette, George Hamilton IV and Chet Atkins. Her friendship with Johnny Cash and his family endured right to his sad demise in 2003.

Following a thirty-year hiatus from the recording studio, in October 2023 Sandy will release
a long awaited new album in tandem with her self-penned life story, ‘In My Own Words’,
published by O’Brien Press. The autobiography covers the ups and downs of the singer’s life
in her own endearingly honest voice.

The album, ‘Leaving It All Behind’, was recorded at what was Johnny Cash’s personal studio
‘Cash Cabin’ in Nashville and produced by five time Grammy Award winning producer, John
Carter Cash, alongside Sandy’s son, Willie and an A-list Nashville session band. Twelve
tracks, traversing the lines of classic country and contemporary folk, including re-cut
acoustic versions of Sandy’s duets with Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, ‘Woodcarver’ and
‘Against The Wind’, the latter featuring Marty Stuart as a guest musician. As well as a duet
with Mike Hanrahan of Stockton’s Wing. ‘Leaving It All Behind’ is a legacy album which will confirm Sandy’s position at the apex of the European country music ladder.

John founded Waltons New School of Music in Dublin together with his wife Aideen Walton in September 1994. He comes from a musical family; his mother was a concert pianist and both his grandfather and great-grandfather were composers.

John received a BA from Harvard University and an MPhil from Trinity College Dublin. Although

‘classically’ trained (his main instrument is viola), he has always felt that different music genres have much to offer each other. For this reason, the New School’s approach embraces musical diversity; the school offers tuition in the widest range of instruments and genres (classical music, jazz, Irish traditional and folk music, popular music and world music) of any music school in Ireland; and students are encouraged to engage with and explore music

genres outside their main focus.

John also founded and directs the New School’s Outreach Programme (since 2001), Music at Work Programme (since 2003) and Waltons World Masters Series (since 2003). The World Masters Series has brought to Ireland – several for the first for the first time – such acclaimed international artists and groups as Bobby McFerrin, Wayne

Shorter, Anoushka Shankar, Toumani Diabaté, Angélique Kidjo, Zakir Hussain, Mavis Staples, Branford Marsalis, Mariza, McCoy Tyner, the Blind Boys of Alabama, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, the Soweto Gospel Choir and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

And he is co-founder and co-director (with Aideen Walton) of the ongoing Waltons RTÉ lyric fm Music for Schools Competition (since 2012), a national competition and celebration of music making in Irish schools. To date, primary and post-primary schools from every county in Ireland have participated in the Music for Schools Competition.

Head of Artist Relations at SoundboxPlays, Anna Fahey has been working in the music industry for more than 15 years helping artists with their royalties, performing as an artist herself in renowned concert halls and stadiums throughout Europe including The Royal Albert Hall, Teatro de Verona, Lugano Arts Centre and Teatro La Scala di Milano to name but a few. She has been an avid follower of the developmemt of Web3 and regularly hosts events in London in the music space with a focus on making it more inclusive for women. 

Anna has spent several years living and working internationally, speaking numerous languages and immersing herself in different cultues. She is passionate about justice for artists and the importance of them being credited properly for their work. She is a member of the education board of IAFAR, a founding member of the UK Web3 Rights group and is wholeheartedly dedicated to being an advocate for ensuring artists are credited for their work in the Web3 space. She has been a practitioner of Zen Buddhism and mindfullness for more than a decade and is dedicated to the wellbeing and mental health of musicians.

Gerry O’Connor comes from Dundalk, Co. Louth and was taught by his mother, Rose who was a descendant of three generations of fiddle players. With a focus on his local music of Oriel, he is known world-wide as a soloist and as a founder band member of Lá Lugh, Skylark and Oirialla.

He has recorded 14 albums with his first solo album Journeyman hailed as a landmark album of Irish fiddle music, and has performed with all of the leading performers of the Irish music world including members of the Chieftains, Boys of the Lough, Planxty, De Dannan and Bothy Band. Gerry has published a book of Cathal McConnell's songs and is launching a tunebook this week featuring dance music of Oriel recorded at the turn of the 20th century. Gerry is also highly regarded as a violin-maker, music teacher and music producer.

Cheryl spent 15 years helping to run the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA). Keith Johnson is Director of Marketing and Membership at the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO).

IMRO administers the performing right in copyright music on behalf of its members (songwriters, composers and music publishers) and on behalf of members of the international overseas societies that are affiliated to it. IMRO´s function is to collect and distribute royalties arising from the public performance of copyright works, i.e. live performances, radio, TV and online.

IMRO is also prominently involved in the sponsorship and promotion of music in Ireland. Every year it sponsors a large number of song contests, music festivals, seminars, workshops, research projects and showcase performances. IMRO is now synonymous with helping to showcase emerging talent in Ireland.

Kari is best known as an artist advocate who tailors her marketing plans, consulting and radio promotions to the artist and to their unique talents with her holistic and sustainable plans. Her workshops and mentorships have helped artists throughout the decades.

Dr Conaghan is a Research Fellow at University College Dublin (UCD) and a member of the
Centre for Human Rights at UCD Law School. Her professional experience covers a wide range of fields spanning over 30 years, including Mathematics at secondary level, violin teaching and performing, as lecturer for almost 30 years at the Conservatory of Music in Dublin (now TU Dublin) and as founder and musical Director of Young Dublin Symphonia,
the award-winning string orchestra based in Malahide, Dublin.

In 2001, Dr Conaghan pioneered the string class tuition model for inclusive instrumental tuition in the primary school. This model included the training of teachers, composing string orchestra pieces for
multi-level students, courses for primary school teachers and information sessions for parents, and was supported by the Education Office at the National Concert Hall Dublin.

Guided by principles of equality and social justice, Dorothy’s research focuses on instrumental and vocal music education policy and provision. She has been guest lecturer and research advisor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna for several years and in 2021 was elected to the Board of the Paris-based, UNESCO-affiliated
International Music Council (IMC) where her work includes enabling the Five Music Rights of
the IMC.

Dr Conaghan’s advocacy work on policy commitment for universal access to instrumental music education has been recognised internationally and she has received awards from University College Dublin, the Irish Research Council and the Arts Council of Ireland for her activism and scholarship in promoting fair opportunity and social justice in
music education practice and provision.

Robyn Boyd is the founder of Wooden Ship Productions, a booking and management company started in 1991 to support international touring artists and has been preparing visa applications since 1993. Her son Sean has
recently joined WSP, which has allowed the agency to expand its roster.

Robyn has been doing presentations on US Immigration policy at music conferences all
over North America for many years and offers full visa petition services for artists. She served on the board of the Sing Out Corporation for ten years and on the NERFA board.

Liam Merriman has been a significant presence on the live music and entertainment circuit in Ireland over many years. His songs have been released by Polygram Records, RTE Records and the independent Three Rivers label. His work has also been published by Cohesion Arts in America as a contributing writer, and artist on the acclaimed Nashville based 1861 Project. He has performed his own works on RTE, and BBC TV and his songs have received airplay and play-listing on national, regional, and local radio stations in Ireland and overseas. Liam has released seven albums of his work to date, mostly recorded in Nashville, Tennessee with 2020 Grammy Award Nominee Thomm Jutz in the producer’s chair. He has toured and worked as an opening artist for many major acts including  Nanci Griffith, Donovan, Mary Black, Kiki Dee, Paul Brady and Christy Moore. 

Qualifying as a Music and Health Trainer under the European Commission's Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme was the culmination of Merriman’s ambition to promote professional musical standards and practice in the Irish healthcare sector. To this end he undertook two pan-European hospital projects lead by pioneering organization Musique et Sante, Paris, each delivered over a nine-month period. The project partners included Music Network (Ireland), Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester (UK), Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland), and the Krakow Academy of Music (Poland).  Merriman's European training introduced him to many sensitive and challenging medical settings in participating hospitals across Europe and qualified him as a Healthcare Musician and Music & Health Trainer.

Vastly experienced, he has worked for many years with Music & Health Ireland in highly sensitive health settings across the country with both children and adults. Liam’s role at Waterford Healing Arts incorporates training, working as a hospital and healthcare musician in several medical settings in the community, and leading the Healing Sounds Programme at University Hospital Waterford.  

He has coached students in Music and Health practice as a visiting lecturer at University of Limerick M.A. in Community Music, Royal Irish Academy of Music (Degree students), Dundalk IT and Waterford IT (Nursing students). 

Ben Mandelson Founding Director of WOMEX and Supervisory Board member for the parent company Piranha Arts based in Berlin, Germany. WOMEX is the world’s biggest professional music conference, tradefair and showcase for World, Roots, Folk, Traditional, Local and Diaspora music - an annual October-end Europe-based event.

Amy Laidlaw is a booking agent and artist manager in Australia who’s worked in music for the past 23 years. She got her start in the industry working for the Falls Festival in various roles including Staff & Volunteer Manager, Operations Manager and Event Consultant.

She’s since worked for a number of music festivals and now manages Australian singer-songwriter, Nigel Wearne.

With a diverse background in festival and event management, tour bookings and strategic planning, Amy is the founder of I Hear Django; a music and events agency on Gunditjmara country in Victoria. Services include artist management and mentoring, tour bookings, visa consultancy, export strategy development and festival and event management.

Steeped in music, Damien grew up in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, with a deep respect and understanding of the folk tradition, which also forged a healthy appetite to explore its broadest borders and test its boundaries.

His career began early when he first went on stage with his parents and siblings at the age of 13 in the O’Kane Family Band (or “the Von Trapps of Coleraine”, as they were known locally). They did pretty well, playing for dances and singing old favourites like ‘The Mountain Dew’. After a gig at a big golfing event in Portrush, they were invited to play in pubs in Tramore and Waterford, leading to invitations to play in Austria and Iceland.

Damien joined the first intake at the newly instituted Traditional Music Degree course in Newcastle.

From there he formed a musical partnership with Shona Kipling, an all-Ireland accordion champion . They 2007 album ‘Box On’ , got them a nomination for the BBC Folk Horizon Award.

Concurrently also working with David Wood in Cross Current, Damien became much in demand for sessions and touring with Flook. He was with them when they won Best Group at the 2006 BBC Folk Awards.

Along with playing with Kate Rusby’s band, he keeps busy with a number of projects, most notably dueting with Ron Block ( of Alison Krauss + Union Station), touring and recording. Their highly acclaimed 2018 album ‘Banjophony’ led to further touring and a second album ‘Banjophonics’ in 2022.

Jessica Willis Fisher is a singer-songwriter-fiddler with a storyteller’s heart. Raised playing traditional folk music from an early age, she performed with her family band in the Irish, Country, and Bluegrass music scenes and made appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and America’s Got Talent. Her Americana-leaning debut solo album features both deeply autobiographical lyrics and foot-stomping anthems. Paul Flynn, Head of Traditional Arts with the Irish Arts Council the Irish government agency responsible for the development and funding of the arts in Ireland. Paul previously was the Traditional Arts Officer with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland from 2004 to 2008.

He is currently co-managing the Tradition Now series – a partnership between the Arts Council and the National Concert Hall, Dublin, Ireland and was co-curator with the FolkLife Festival at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. in 2007. Originally from An Mullach Bán in South Armagh, Paul plays the fiddle and is interested in the Ulster song tradition.

Joanne Gardner started making music videos in the mid 1980’s in Nashville. As a freelance producer, she worked with nearly every artist on their projects – including Emmylou Harris, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, Alabama, Roy Orbison, and the O’Kanes. She produced well over 600 videos before starting a company with Rosanne Cash in 1987 – ACME Pictures.

She produced hundreds of videos at ACME – mostly for artists who didn’t wear hats. That rule was bent to create the groundbreaking “Tear in My Beer” which blended Hank Williams, Jr. with his father for the “first time.”

She directed multiple videos for Alison Krauss, Tanya Tucker
Delbert McClinton, Marty Stuart, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Rodney Crowell, including a few award winners.

She left to join Columbia Records in 1995 as the head of music video production for the label. She was with Sony Music Nashville for ten years, ultimately becoming the SR. VP of Video Production for Columbia, Epic Records and Sony worldwide.

During the Sony years, she oversaw hundreds of videos and won dozens of awards including for artists Will Smith , James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Julio Iglesias, The Fugees, Maxwell, Ricky Martin, John Mayer, Aerosmith, Destiny's Child, Men In Black, Bob Dylan, Eleanor McEvoy Music, Alice in Chains, Train, Savage Garden, Gretchen Wilson, Shawn Colvin, Shawn Mullins, Duran Duran, Barbra Streisand, Céline Dion, Billy Joel, Mariah Carey, Marc Anthony, Tony Bennett and more.

After spending three decades in the entertainment industry, Joanne moved to Montana 17 years ago to retire. So far, “retirement” hasn’t gone very well. She’s helped create and produce the Paradise Valley Music Festival, helped create and produced the very first Red Ants Pants Music Festival, produced A Song Runs Through It in Livingston and coproduced the Livingston Hoot for 7 years until Covid swallowed it up. In 2016 she co-produced and directed the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service live broadcast- “An Evening at the Arch.”

In 2020, she produced the International Bluegrass Music Association virtual awards show, bringing beloved bluegrass musicians together safely and virtually in the middle of the pandemic.

She and her husband, songwriter/performer John Lowell now perform together and present music events. She has toured as a singer with Rodney Crowell and Tracy Nelson.

Thomas Johnston is the Founder and Artistic Director of Ceol Connected, a dynamic & impassioned company that strives to create meaningful, beguiling, virtuosic, fantastical & gloriously joyful work for young audiences that is of the highest quality & that draws inspiration & intrigue from the world of traditional arts.

An uilleann piper and whistle player, Thomas’ achievements at Ceol Connected include working with a dynamic creative and technical team to produce and tour nationally eight productions (incl. TREEHOUSE, The Far Field, and WUNDERGROUND).

Other work includes producing four albums; forging national/international partnerships, devising & implementing a number of artist CPD initiatives; developing Sensory SongTales artist residencies for children with additional needs, and producing Tradoodle Festival Traditional Arts Festival, County Monaghan’s traditional arts festival for young audiences. In 2022/2023, Ceol Connected have been commissioned by the Patrick Kavanagh Centre to co-produce, with the National Concert Hall, Dublin, Ireland, a new gig theatre production for young audiences inspired by Kavanagh’s A Christmas Childhood.

Uri Kohen is the founder and producer of the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival in Co. Mayo, and a manager at The Electric Cave Production.

Uri has been booking gigs in Westport for Irish and international acts since 2004 before starting the festival in 2007.

The festival is now widely regarded as one of the leading bluegrass events in Ireland and it is drawing musicians and music fans alike from all over the world.

In recent months Uri joined a group of bluegrass festival producers from all over Europe to create large network of Bluegrass all over the continent and beyond.

In recent years, he is been booking tours for American folk, bluegrass artists throughout Ireland while working on network of venues for touring musicians to perform in.

Tom Besford runs English Folk Expo (EFEx), which supports the English folk, roots and acoustic music sector. EFEx delivers showcases, live events, artist mentoring, industry training, audience development and more.

Barry Stapleton has been involved in booking entertainment for Milwaukee Irish Fest for 30 years. Milwaukee Irish Fest hires 100 artists who perform over a 4 day weekend in August. Along with an entertainment committee, he oversees all the legal aspects, production, scheduling and logistics at the festival.

Christopher has been involved in Bluegrass Music for 40 years. He was an active amateur musician playing guitar and mandolin in French bands Pony Express and Moonshine for many years. Recently he rejoined his old comrades to launch poniXpress 2.0.

He is best known in the global Bluegrass community as the founder and chair of Bluegrass in La Roche, Europe’s biggest
festival dedicated exclusively to Bluegrass music since 2006. He was chair of FBMA for 8 years in the early 2000s and vice chair of EBMA for a term after that.

He is currently serving on the Board of the IBMA, representing the International Constituency.
Professionally, Christopher has travelled the world working as a manager, consultant and professor in the field of international
communication and management.

Matt Bartlett, the CEO of Midnight Mango, has had a fascinating journey in the music industry. With a background as a national promoter in the noughties, Matt's career took an unexpected turn when several artists he regularly promoted approached him to become their agent. Embracing the challenge, Matt transformed his company into a booking agency.

Over the next nine years, Midnight Mango steadily grew as a booking agency. In 2019, the agency's dedication and success were acknowledged when they won the Live Agency of the Year award at the UK Festival Awards. Like many others, during the pandemic Midnight Mango suffered significant setbacks. Undeterred, Matt focused on devising a new business model that would fuel the agency's growth once live events returned to normal.

Ken Irwin, Marian Leighton Levy, and Bill Nowlin founded Rounder Records in 1970 to present old-time and bluegrass music that might not otherwise be recorded. The label grew to encompass a wide variety of genres and a catalog of more than 3,000 titles, becoming one of the largest independent record labels in the United States.

Ken Irwin was raised in the New York suburbs. Music in the Irwin household included albums of Broadway show tunes, but rock ‘n’ roll made more of an impression on Ken. During his senior year in high school, attendance at a Pete Seeger concert steered Ken in the direction of folk music. His first year at Tufts University, where he majored in psychology, paired him with his future musical co-conspirator and business partner, Bill Nowlin. Exposure to The Greenbriar Boys, Cambridge’s Club 47, and the Charles River Valley Boys, the Hillbilly at Harvard radio show, Boston’s Hillbilly Ranch and the Lilly Brothers, and forays to fiddlers’ conventions focused Ken’s interests upon bluegrass, old-time, and other roots music.

Steáfán Hannigan is an Irish musician, author, composer, audio engineer, musicologist and instrument maker.  Since 2008, he has made his home in Canada. Hannigan is a multi-instrumentalist. Some of the instruments he plays are the Uillean pipes, Bodhrán, tin whistle, low whistle, bouzouki, guitar, tenor banjo, flute, mandolin and various percussion instruments.

Hannigan founded the Steáfán Hannigan Band, which later became the Irish band Sin É. The band released two albums, Sin É and It's About Time. The group performed internationally, including at Lincoln Center in New York in 1997.

Hannigan opened Oisin Studios in Milton Keynes, England, and produced a number of albums, including Tig (Serious Kitchen), and Not to Scale (Kerfuffle).

As well as fronting his own band, Hannigan performed widely with other artists and bands, including Depeche Mode, Bjork, Aessia D'Andrea, and Band of Hope.

In 1994 he published an instructional book, Bodhrán Basics and in 2000 he published instructional book, The Low Whistle Book, with David Ledsam.

A contemporary nu-folk Irish singer/songwriter,  Gráinne Hunt has a rich background in performance and songwriting.

Her voice is incredibly powerful - there’s a husky element but also a vulnerability, which is present too in her lyrics. This combination has gained her a reputation as one of Ireland’s most outstanding female vocalists and songwriters.
 
She has toured extensively and performed on stages in Ireland, the UK and Europe. She has shared stages with Glen Hansard, sung with U2, and opened for Gladys Knight and Eagle-Eye Cherry, the Bay City Rollers and Kane Brown.

She is an experienced and versatile professional musician with a demonstrated history of working in the Arts. She has a music degree and formal training in guitar and vocals, and is a Level 1 MVT vocal coach. She is founder of songwritercircle.club, a prompt based deadline driven online songwriting group.

Alongside her solo original music project, she is one half of Irish music project Gráinne and Brendan Songs from Ireland, with award winning guitarist Brendan Walsh.  She is also one half of new folk project Hibsen - a James Joyce inspired project and album based on Dubliners.

Ronnie's professional career in photography started with some album covers for EMI, then back stage and front of house at every concert he could blag his way into.

Trips to Nashville led to photographing Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings and encounters with Crystal Gayle, Dolly Parton and all his superheroes in the music world. During this time a friendship was welded with U2’s graphic designer Steve Averill and the iconic Fanzine and later Europe's top Roots Americana website Lonesome Highway was created. It was and still is the go to publication for every roots artist that visited Ireland to be interviewed and photographed. Interviews with Emmy Lou Harris, Steve Earle and tour programmes for Kris Kristofferson were all part of the daily routine for Steve and Ronnie back then.

A chance encounter with Lee Williams of CMR Nashville Europe's number one Country station led to starting a sixteen year stint with the station with Lonesome Highway and more recently Bluegrass and Beyond, and European Bluegrass Roundup radio shows. More trips to Nashville and Raleigh NC lead to close up and personal contact with just about every body in the Bluegrass and Roots music world.

Resident photographer duties at several major Country Festivals and regular yearly residencies at the Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival, the Omagh Bluegrass Festival and The Bunratty Midwinter Festival were all fodder for the insatiable appetite of Lonesome Highway listeners and readers.

Niamh Parsons has come to be known as one of the most distinctive voices in Irish music. Her voice has drawn comparisons to such venerated singers as Dolores Keane, June Tabor and Sandy Denny. The great Scottish balladeer Archie Fisher said of Niamh, ‘a songstress like her comes along once or twice in a generation.’

It has been said that while Niamh may not be the most famous Irish Balladeer, many feel she’s the best. Described in the Boston Herald as both emotionally haunting and tonally as clear as crystal, Niamh’s albums have been ‘must-have’ collector’s items for any lover of songs and singing. With 9 Albums to her name, Niamh has gathered a body of songs from many sources, both traditional and modern songwriters.

Growing up in Dublin, Niamh’s music-loving parents brought herself and her sister to the local folk club in The Old Shieling Hotel in Raheny, where the young girls were exposed to songs and singing from the likes of The Johnstons, Emmet Spiceland, Sweeney’s Men, Dolly McMahon, Danny Doyle and many of the other musicians and singers that were playing in Folk clubs at that time. ‘My father was a great singer, and on long journeys the family used to sing in the car – I don’t remember a time in my life when I was not singing – I love songs.’

Niamh developed this love into a penchant for collecting songs. She is always on the lookout for songs that speak to her – listening to new albums, scouring the Traditional Music Archives in Dublin, sharing notes with a network of friends and other singers. Once she discovers a song she likes, Niamh views herself as the vehicle for the music. ‘For me the song is more important than listening to my voice’, she says. ‘I consider myself more a songstress than a singer – a carrier of tradition.’

Throughout her career, Niamh has performed with a wide variety of artists, and has appeared at nearly every prestigious folk festival on either side of the Atlantic. As a member of the traditional Irish band Arcady (led by De Dannan’s Johnny ‘Ringo’ McDonagh), she sang on their Shanachie recording Many Happy Returns. She appeared before President Clinton and Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern in Capitol Hill, Washington, joined Grammy Award winner Paul Winter for an album and a summer concert in New York, and performed on ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ when the show broadcast live from Dublin.

Turning Pirate was founded in 2006 by Úna Molloy as an agency and creative production company. Since then TP has been booking shows and tours for artists throughout Ireland and the UK including Lisa Hannigan, Booka Brass, Wallis Bird, Paul Noonan, John Smith (UK), Willy Mason (USA), Ye Vagabonds, Joe Henry (USA), Rhob Cunningham, Cathy Davey, Sample Answer, Bronagh Gallagher, Roesy, Tim Easton (USA) and David Kitt.

Tour and production management include worldwide tours with Lisa Hannigan, James Vincent McMorrow, Bell X1, Natalie Merchant (USA) and Valerie June (USA) including Asia, Australia, Europe, USA and the UK.

TP are known for their collaborative MixTape shows. These take in all sorts of events from corporate events to charity shows, culminating in the annual Turning Pirate NYE Mix Tape in Vicar Street. The shows bring together Ireland’s best musicians and artists for a collaborative party with artists like Paul Noonan, Delorentos, Villagers, James Vincent McMorrow, Lisa Hannigan, Jape, Declan O'Rourke, Wallis Bird, Cathy Davey, Wyvern Lingo, Saint Sister and lots more (see videos below).

Úna has managed Booka Brass from their beginning, through their successful multiple sold out tours including Cork Opera House and Vicar St, Glastonbury, Latitude along with numerous other festivals in the UK and Ireland. They have been proclaimed 'Ireland's best live music act' by numerous media outlets.

TP have produced a number of shows including the Today FM 20th Birthday Party (David Gray, Bell X1, The Coronas, Hudson Taylor and many more), Tony Fenton Tribute Night, they have been involved in the Iveagh Gardens Comedy Festival every year booking the music and street theatre.

In 2015 Úna Molloy’s work with Turning Pirate was acknowledged at the IMRO awards, where she was honoured to be awarded the very first IMRO Outstanding Contribution to Live Music Award.

In 2018, Úna began working with The Porterhouse Group, piecing together plans for a new music venue in Dublin. The venue, Lost Lane, opened in April 2019. Úna took on the role as programmer and through her strong relationships and years of experience in the Irish music industry, has been quickly building the venue’s reputation as one of Dublin’s best venues and clubs, welcoming all genres of music and events including gigs with The Coronas, Saint Sister, Tebi Rex, Steve Gadd (Paul Simon, James Taylor), Mick Flannery, as well as hosting events with MOTHER, Hidden Agenda, Mirage, Aiken, MCD, POD, aftershows for festivals and gigs, Vinyl and Wine, Jim Carroll’s Banter and many more events of all kinds.

Toner Quinn is a musician, writer about music, publisher, editor and lecturer. He studied music at Waterford IT and publishing at the University of Stirling in Scotland.

In 2000, he founded the music magazine JMI – The Journal of Music in Ireland (now The Journal of Music), which won the Utne Independent Press Award for Arts Coverage in Washington DC in 2010. The Journal of Music today has an international readership and is highly regarded for its music journalism and criticism.

As a musician, Toner released a duet album in 2013 with fiddle player Malachy Bourke, Live at the Steeple Sessions (Ergodos), which was chosen as one of the Irish Times traditional music albums of the year.

As Project Officer for the Arts Council’s Special Committee on the Traditional Arts in 2004, he was responsible for drafting the document Towards a Policy for the Traditional Arts. He was also commissioned by the Council to write a major report on the Irish harping tradition that was published in 2014.

He is editor of the collection of essays Desmond Fennell: his life and work, exploring the work of the late Irish writer, and recently contributed a radio essay on Fennell to the RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta series Aistí ón Aer. Since 2008, Toner has lectured in publishing on the MA in Literature and Publishing at the University of Galway.

Macdara Ó Faoláin builds unique, handcrafted, mandolins, bouzoukis & guitars in Gaeltacht na nDéise, Co. Waterford. After building his first instrument at the age of 14, Macdara continued to develop his skills and his design, building instruments part-time whilst he was in education.

After finishing a Bachelors of Music in the Cork School of Music, Macdara began making instruments and performing full-time. His instruments are played by clients in Ireland, Europe and the US. Macdara has a particular interest in using sustainable & native tonewoods.

As a musician, Macdara has played with a wide range of musicians including Victoria Adiiye, Derek Hickey, Páraic MacDonnchadha, Pádraic Keane, Nell Ní Chróinín, Skara Brae, Cormac McCarthy & Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh. 

Mary Burdette is Executive Director of Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival and President of
FestiveWorks, LLC, a production company whose mission is to inspire, educate, and
entertain; grow new audiences; and create a diverse, inclusive, welcoming community
of fans, artists, and supporters. Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival (US) is a gathering of
award-winning bluegrass, old-time, Americana, and roots music, including traditional
and contemporary folk music from around the world. Developmental and learning
programs include emerging artist showcases, a youth academy, dance instruction,
music workshops, and college scholarships. Now in its 40 th year, Grey Fox is an iconic
summer haven for music lovers from more than thirty states and a dozen countries.
As a devoted member of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), Mary
has co-produced the IBMA Annual Awards Show, served on several advisory
committees, and chaired the Leadership Bluegrass alumni association.

Mary has recorded on Rounder Records and Music of the Old West labels and is heard
on the soundtracks of Ken Burns’ documentaries, Lewis and Clark: Journey of the
Corps of Discovery (1997) and The American Buffalo (2023). She has performed at
major festivals in the US, Canada, and Europe, as well as for the US State Department
in Trinidad and Tobago with banjo legend Bill Keith. In 2023, she toured Switzerland,
Czech Republic, and Germany with the US bluegrass band, Level Best.

Sherrie is an experienced Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Holistic Wellness Coach who helps clients explore and prioritize their well-being while developing their inner awareness. She combines various therapeutic approaches, including Attachment-based, Polyvagal, CBT, and Client-Centered Psychotherapy, in order to provide her clients with a holistic approach to therapy.

With a focus on family origins, Sherrie helps clients make sense of their past, find meaning in their suffering, tune into their authentic selves, and align with their unique path in life. Whether her clients are dealing with anxiety, depression, procrastination, addiction, relationship issues, racing thoughts, self-doubt, or a lack of direction or zest for life, she uses each discomfort as a pointer to turn her clients' attention inward and shine a light on the parts of themselves that may be dormant and shadowed.

Sherrie also works with musicians and was a panelist at Your Roots Are Showing in its first year. As a therapist, she continuously works on deepening her self-awareness to collaborate wholeheartedly with her clients and provide them with tools that give them the freedom to explore themselves without feeling judged. Sherrie sees the vast individual who resides just beyond the mask of family history, complex trauma, limiting beliefs, and psychological drama, and believes that each person has the potential to connect with themselves and live an authentic life.

Sherrie believes that the key to moving away from patterns of self-sabotage is prioritizing the connection to our authentic selves and developing our inner awareness. By centering on honoring our true selves and letting go of codependent contracts, we become free from confusion and existential angst and develop the ability to discern for ourselves what decisions and actions will help us navigate life more easily. Ethnomusicologist, geographer and performer Dr Daithí Kearney is a lecturer in music and tourism, and co-director of the Creative Arts Research Centre at Dundalk Institute of Technology. His research focuses on Irish traditional music, song and dance, and he has toured regularly as a musician, singer and dancer with a number of groups including Siamsa Tíre, The National Folk Theatre of Ireland.

A composer, he was commissioned to write a suite for the Oriel Traditional Orchestra with funding from the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (2018) and has been musical director of Ceolta Sí. Albums include the critically acclaimed Midleton Rare (2012) with accordion player John Cronin, and A Louth Lilt (2017 with Dr Adèle Commins.

A published poet and songwriter, and experienced actor and dancer, he advocates for cross-arts approaches that embrace diversity in creative projects. His research has appeared recently in the International Journal of Traditional Arts, Musicultures, and Confluente, as well as book chapters in Staged Folklore (ed. Motherway and O’Connell, 2022) and Timbres of Identity (ed. Dogus Varli, 2021).

Ireland is famed throughout the world for the art of storytelling and Francis McCarron is one of Ireland's most well-known storytellers. His wide and varied repertoire includes legends, local tales and everything in between. It also includes riddles, rhymes and songs – although he can’t sing to save his life!

Francis is a member of the Storytellers of Ireland and is currently Monaghan County Councils Storyteller in Residence.

A storyteller tells from memory rather than reading from a book. The tales have no set text, but are endlessly re-created in the telling. The listener is essential for stories to live, as they need the hearts, minds and ears of listeners. Without the listener there is no story.

Gabriel Gonzalez is a musician and producer based in Galway. Over the past 18 years he has been part of multiple musical projects in Ireland as a flute player and guitar player and has toured Europe and USA with different musical projects.

From a musical family and trained as a classical musician from an early age this multi-instrumentalist has been very active composing and producing music for film and documentaries.

In April 2020 during the first lockdown in Ireland, when live music stopped all over the world, Gabriel decided to record and produce a number of tunes he had composed in recent years, creating this very intimate album called “Waiting for The Tide”. An album encapsulating the different emotions inspired by Galway and the West of Ireland.

He reached out to some musician friends he worked with in the past in many projects like Olas, Anna Mullarkey, Alalé, Baile An Salsa, Pulse, John Conneely Inc. and many more. They were able to send their magical collaborations to his small studio from different corners of the world. It was in his home studio during the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 that Gabriel produced and arranged this collection of tunes. The finished album is called "Waiting for The Tide".

Fiddle player and composer Maurice Lennon was born in 1958 to the Lennon family of traditional musicians in Co. Leitrim. His father was the well-known fiddle player and teacher Ben Lennon – who received the Gradam Ceoil Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011 – and his uncle, Charlie Lennon is a renowned composer, pianist and fiddle player who also received the composer award in 2006. Maurice Lennon is the recipient of the Gradam Ceoil Composer Award in 2023.

Lennon began playing traditional music at age 13. At age 17 he won the Senior Fiddle Championship at the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in 1977. In the same year, he founded the folk-rock band Stockton’s Wing with flute and whistle player Paul Roche, banjo and mandolin player Kieran Hanrahan, guitarist and singer Tony Callinan and bodhrán player Tommy Hayes. The band grew international success in the 1980’s and 1990’s and released many albums including Stockton’s Wing (1978), Take a Chance (1980), and Full Flight (1986).

After leaving the band, Lennon’s solo career has seen him collaborate with singers Seán Keane, Ronnie Drew, Finbar Furey and Johnny McEvoy, as well as performing a central role in the music of Irish dance production Ragús. His most famous composition ‘If Ever You Were Mine’ was recorded by Cherish the Ladies and featured on their 1992 album The Back Door, and also by Canadian fiddle player Natalie MacMaster. Other artists to record his compositions include The Kilfenora Céilí Band, Blazin’ Fiddles, Noel Hill, Brian Rooney, Karen Tweed, Pride of New York, Liam O’Brien, Jerry O’Sullivan, Cathy Vard and Liam Lawton, The London Lasses and many more.

Lennon has released a number of acclaimed albums as a solo artist, including Brian Boru – High King Of Tara (2001) and his solo fiddle album The Little Ones (2013), which included compositions ‘The Road to Garrison’ and ‘The Belltable Waltz’.

Dr. Fintan Vallely is a musician and author on Traditional music. He has played throughout the world, and teaches flute annually at the Co. Clare Willie Clancy Summer School.

His earliest recording is a 1979 LP, this and a 1990 album made with Berklee professor and guitarist Mark Simos; his most recent is a 2022 solo CD Merrijig Creek. He toured with singer and accordionist Tim Lyons, and toured and performed A Fool’s Errand with the poet Dermot Healy.

He was a critic with The Irish Times and The Sunday Tribune, and has been a university lecturer on Traditional music in Ireland and abroad.

Among his numerous books is the 1999, 2011 and (t.b.p. 2024) encyclopedia Companion to Irish Traditional Music, and its touring show and CD Compánach, and DVD Turas. Just completed is Beating time – the bodhrán story, a substantial, first-ever history of the Irish drum.

In 2022 he was honoured as an Adjunct Professor with University College Dublin, and in 2023 was awarded the highest national accolade for his work, the TG4 lifetime achievement award, Gradam Saol. 

Willie Kelly is an experienced freelance music professional –Songwriter, Musician, Music Producer, Festival Producer and Live Booking Agent.

Co-producer and lead programmer at Sligo Live Festival, he has worked with artists such as Robert Plant, Jools Holland,Imelda May, Bob Geldof & The Boomtown Rats, Indigo Girls, The Coronas, John Bishop, Dara O Briain, Willie Watson, Rhiannon Giddens and many more. Also, a live booking agent at Midnight Mango UK, Willie represents several international touring artists in the Country, Folk and Americana sphere, including Thomas Gabriel, IV and The Strange Band, Julian Taylor and Josh Okeefe.

Willie, is also a recording and touring artist, most recently and notably with Irish band Rackhouse Pilfer. When has toured Ireland, UK and Europe extensively, performing at Glastonbury, C2C London, Body & Soul Ireland, Country Piknik Poland, La Roche Bluegrass France.

Rackhouse Pilfer were awarded Hot Press Magazine ‘Best Trad/Folk Band’ 2015 and Hot Press Magazine ‘Live Band Of The Year’ 2014. They were invited to perform for Irish President, Michael D Higgins, during a private party at the President’s residence Aras An Uachtarain in 2014. They independently sold 20,000+ Albums and have 500,000+ streams combined across platforms such as YouTube and Spotify, where Willie had 11 songwriting credits across 2 original Rackhouse Pilfer albums. With Rackhouse, Willie has worked alongside world renowned producers Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Erasure, Grizzly Bear), Brad Jones (Steve Earle, Josh Rouse, Bobby Bare Jr.) and with Ethan Johns (Kings Of Leon, Paul McCartney, Ryan Adams) on Sir. Tom Jones 2015 album ‘Long Lost Suitcase’, where Rackhouse Pilfer were invited to be the session band on two tracks,including ‘Honey, Honey’ the lead single and duet with Imelda May.

Most recently, Willie has Co-Produced Sandy Kelly’s forthcoming album ‘Leaving It All Behind’ with five time Grammy winning producer John Carter Cash (Loretta Lynn, Chris Cornell, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, John Prine, and his mother and father June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash), working at The Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Where Willie also worked on his 2007 solo album ‘In The Unlikely Event Of Fire, produced by John Cater Cash and Jim Reilley.

Annalisa Monticelli is a highly sought-after musician, having performed internationally as a soloist, with ensembles and various orchestras. She studied Classical and Jazz Piano, Voice, Conducting, Chamber Music and Music Education in Italy, Argentina, and the USA.

After spending 3 years in America, she moved to Ireland to work as an instrumental accompanist for the Royal Irish Academy of Music where she later became Italian and vocal coach. In 2015 she became Assistant Lecturer-Repetiteur at Dundalk Institute of Technology where she also serves as program director for the Musical Theatre programme.

Since her arrival in Ireland, she has appeared in all major Irish venues and has released several CDs.
In recent years she performed in Warsaw, Zurich, Vilnius, Glasgow, Paris, Johor Bahru (Malaysia), Madrid and toured the USA. Upcoming engagements will bring her to Porto and Scotland.
She is an eclectic musician, that loves performing classical music alongside Tango, Jazz and Latin-American Music; both as a pianist and a singer. She is pianist for the Irish-Latin band Baile An Salsa since 2018, and pianist/singer for the tango quintet Hibertango.

Tom Cussen is a musician and banjo maker.

Clareen Banjos is a family business that specialises in manufacturing hand-made banjos from the same location in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway, for the past 40 years.  Tom has built Clareen Banjos, into a world-renowned business which sells online, through several  retailers and from its showroom in the West of Ireland.  His son Fintan joined the business in 2004.

Tom  is also a highly regarded musician and  is an original member of the traditional Irish band, Shaskeen, who are still going strong and recently celebrated a whopping 50 years as a band!
 

Robert Heuston is Owner, CEO and Publisher of Irish Music Magazine which is available monthly in over 30 Countries worldwide and established 28 years in 2023. Their mission statement is to preserve Irish & Celtic Music Culture and integrate its positive values to the Irish diaspora and society in general internationally.

Their sister company Emerald Isle Media specialises in Online and Made for TV productions and in 2021 successfully completed St Patrick's Day at Home with a reach of over 1.5 Million viewers. During Covid 19 they delivered 100+ online concerts taking in each continent around the World.

In December 2022 Music Business Ireland (MBI) was launched which will provide an invaluable resource to the Irish music industry across all genres and with the primary mission statement of supporting and guiding the music industry post Covid 19. Their contributor base will include Music writers, lawyers, accountants, producers, agents, managers, musicians, record labels, festival directors and technical personnel within all facets of the industry.
